SWEET SNACKS

I much prefer to feed my family sweets that I have made myself, that way I know what ingredients are in them. I would rather not have them eat processed muffins and muesli bars that you find in the supermarket. While they may look healthy, they are loaded with sugars, rancid polyunsaturated fats and preservatives. Not just for that reason, but those things are ridiculously expensive per 100g. Have you ever noticed that when you give your children packaged foods they are always still hungry? This is because they have no nutritional value.

As I have mentioned in this blog, you will find that I replace sugar with 100% Pure Maple Syrup, Raw organic honey, coconut nectar and coconut sugar or I sweeten foods with pureed or dried fruits. No one ever notices the difference.
