Most families these days fill their cupboards with processed snacks from the supermarket. Yes it may be easy, but have you ever stopped to look at the ingredients list on the back of the packet? Preservatives, sugar, salt and all sorts of nasty additives. How does this effect our health? Again, our gut balance can be easily destroyed by this kind of food, skin conditions, behavioural problems, headaches and many other issues. Behavioural issues are a huge problem in children these days along with Eczema, poor sleep and tummy disturbances. We need to look at what we are feeding our children. Do we want them to have toxic overload? If I had a dollar for every person that said to me, “my children aren’t affected by processed food”, I would be rich. Just because your child may not be running around wild or misbehaving all the time, does it mean your children are not affected or is it just easier for you to believe that? involve your children in making their own snacks. empower them to want to eat well and feel good.
